Internet Search Tip: Quotation Marks. Use quotation marks to search for phrases or longer blocks of text. If you type the words birds flying south into the little search window on any search engine (the program that you use to find things on the Internet) it will, after a few seconds, display a list of web pages that contain all three of the (anywhere on a page and in any order) followed by an even longer list of pages that have any two of the words (anywhere and in any order) followed by a really huge list of pages that have any one of the words. If you enclose the words in quotation marks -- "birds flying south" -- your search engine will only find pages with all three words consecutively, that is, in precisely the order you have typed them and with no other words between them.
